Welding

“The arrow that is shot should penetrate so deeply
that even the feathers do not show.
Hug the body of the Lord so tightly
that the bones must be crushed to crumble.
Weld to the divine until the very welding disappears.”

The Innermost Light

“The innermost light,
shining peacefully
and timelessly
in the heart,
is the real Guru.
All others merely show the way.”

Beauty in Essence

Without experiencing the essence there is no beauty.
Beauty is not merely in the outward things
or in inward thoughts, feelings and ideas;
there is beauty beyond this thought and feeling.
It’s this essence that is beauty.

The Flower of Awareness

Awareness is like a flower
Always fresh and present and vibrant
In the morning mist of mind

It awakens to us every moment
Bending its fragrance and petals
To what we think is blurred for a time

Its fragility is an illusory one
For it is the only sharp thing we have
The indestructible ground of living

And in front of such shining beauty
What was once a so familiar scenery
Dissolves and fades like dust in the wind
